Here aboard the Simonizer we strive to be one of the top boats on the Chesapeake Bay. The Simonizer is well maintained for being the ripe old age of 50 And has the best electronics, tackle and gear money can buy. Our mission is to ensure that our clients have an enjoyable, fun-filled, and exciting experience each time they charter the Simonizer.
We ensure this by providing a safe and professional trip run by Captains who flat out love to fish and know how to treat clients. The Simonizer staff is honest, knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and respectful of their clients needs. We understand clients want a very energetic, fast-paced atmosphere while others just want to relax and enjoy their time on the water. While on board the Simonizer, you can rest assured that no one will try harder to provide a successful day of fishing or exploring the Chesapeake Bay.

Captain Lenny Simmons
Captain Lenny Simmons holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master 50 ton license and has been fishing the waters of the Chesapeake Bay for 25+ years. Captain Lenny Simmons and his crew have no problem addressing all of your questions during a charter and love explaining the different fishing methods employed on the Simonizer.
Captain/Mate Nate Simmons
“Nate the Mate” Simmons recently obtained his U.S. Coast Guard Master 50 ton license and has been running the back of the boat for the last three years. While fairly shy and quiet he works very hard getting the lines set and ready to fish!
Captain/Mate Dave Sizemore
Captain and Mate Dave Sizemore holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master 25 ton license. He grew up on the Chesapeake and now raising two boys to have the same passion for the water. Dave started fishing on a 15’ whaler at 12 years old.
